Heidi's Pancake House
Since 1964, Heidi’s has been serving up some of the best breakfast in the area. Come for the giant stack of pillowy buttermilk pancakes, stay for the fluffy scrambled eggs and french toast with local berries. A place for all ages, Heidi’s is a local standby, always there to welcome you with open arms (and a lot of maple syrup).
Base Camp Pizza Co.
Voted "Best Family Restaurant" for three years running, Base Camp is home to some of the best pizza in Tahoe. From traditional to esoteric, the menu will make everyone happy. Order a triple cheese pie for the kids, and try a specialty pie for the adults, like Thai Curry or Pear Gorgonzola (yes, those flavors on a pizza, trust us!). Pair your pizza with a great selection of craft brews.
The Beach House
We love this place, not only for its expansive menu, but also for its stunning lake views. Famous for their crunchy, satisfying fish n’ chips, served with piping hot fries and tartar sauce, The Beach House also has an elaborate kids menu, including a variety of fun non-alcoholic, kid-friendly cocktails. Don't worry, there's plenty of full-strength beer and wine for adults, too.
