Arts, Music and Theater in South Lake Tahoe
Arts, Music and Theater
South Lake Tahoe’s arts scene is every bit as vibrant as its outdoors. Native American arts and crafts are celebrated throughout our area and set the tone for many a Tahoe experience. From our first-rate event calendar featuring the Valhalla Art, Music & Theatre Festival to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, you’ll find a wealth of exceptional art in your midst. In fact, Marcus Ashley is our highly rated area art gallery, and it's just a three-minute walk from our hotel.
The sprawling Vikingsholm is one of Lake Tahoe’s most recognizable landmarks. Located on 162 shoreside acres in Emerald Bay State Park, this 38-room mansion was built in a Scandinavian architectural style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Vikingsholm is open for tours during the summer.
